I’m Afraid That I Don’t Care Enough About Music To Write Anymore. What Can I Do?
February 3rd, 2010I’m 27 and ever since I was 12, music has been my purpose in life. It’s always been so easy to write music and I’ve always loved everything I wrote. Now I just pick up my guitar, pluck out a few ineffectual notes and get depressed about not even caring enough. I’ve really let my skills slip. I’m in my studio right now staring at my keyboard, guitars, amps, audio equipment and stuff and I just don’t care. I mean, I DO care, but not enough to even try. I keep reaching to my right and hitting a few keys and then I go back to surfing the net as the depression begins to well up.
What do you do when you no longer care to even write?
