Is this good for what i need?
Will it last me a good 4 years?
What is the difference between Intel HD audio and Soundblaster X-fi Hi def audio?
I can’t afford a Mac so that is out of the question.

    1) the soundblaster card is just a higher quality sound card. unless you are an audiophile, you wont notice the difference
    2) that will work fine for what you are doing
