What else matters to you in your life? Is there a special someone that can share in your dilemma? I stopped painting for a long time after my friend died, but eventually I picked up the paintbrush again and started anew. I stopped listening to the radio because there is nothing worth listening to anymore, perhaps when you find your mus again, there might be something worth listening to, once more. Are you in a rut in your life in general or perhaps listening to the same records and styles of music that you have done for years. I went through a similar patch, hadn't even touched my guitar for months, then i saw Elbow live, a band I'd never previously been into, they were so amazing that they inspired me to try different songwriting styles and instruments. Don't force it, just try to find other things to be enthusiastic about and if music is natural to you then your new enthusiasms will rub off on your musical life again. New inspiration.
