I would have to say that it is an okay laptop, but not one i would buy. Its PC, which means viruses all over the place. If you are going to use it for school it might be hard keeping up with it. I’ve had a friend that owned one of these and said it wasnt very reliable. If anything, i would go macbook becasue it is more reliable, doesnt get viruses and maintains itself for years. and it also has vista which has tons of bugs, so i would say no to this computer, but if your looking for a pc get the xp or windows 7 when it comes out, if you dont have a tight budget, then definatly get the macbook.

The specs are plenty for what you will be using the computer for. Vista got a bad wrap in the early days of its release, but all the bugs are worked out now. The only thing I would recommend if you get this is to upgrade to SP2, which is free and can be done online.
