Change My Router To Another Country Ip.?

I currently live in Puerto Rico. My internet is DSL Modem connected to a Linksys Router that i bought for wireless. My Linksys Router is hacked, so i can customize almost anything. Sometimes when surfing the web and want to watch a video from a site, it says “currently not availablein your country. So to get passed this, i used a program called Hot Spot Shield, and it works. It tells the web pages im in the United States. The problem comes in is when i want to set up my Netflix to stream via my XBox 360. It doesnt let me do to audio licensing and stuff like that.
So how can i modify my router into making it seem i live in the USA. Doing this would allow me to watch videos “that arent currently allowed in my country” to be viewed without starting the program Hot Spot Shield. So what are the things i need to do to my router to make it like that.

find a proxy in the USA that you can use (pay, free, friend) and then setup your router to forward all the outbound web traffic for whatever device to go to that proxy. depending on how hacked your router is. if it’s running like dd-wrt you can use the linux firewall to match the packets in question based on your rules and replace their destination address with the proxy you want to use. kinda complicated, it was just something that came to me.

Contact your ISP, but your going to be able to change it to make it show as a different country.
Go behind a proxy if your on a computer.
